Clarke names Scotland squad for Nations League as Robertson misses out

Clarke names Scotland team for Nations League as Robertson misses out

STEVE CLARKE has named his Scotland squad for the upcoming Nations League matches against Ukraine and Ireland.

The Hampden boss will be without captain Andy Robertson for the fixtures, as the Liverpool man battle back to fitness at his club.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp yesterday revealed: "Robbo now is not 100 per cent.

"He felt something very late, 93rd or whatever minute - actually he felt it the next day only.

"But, yeah, I would say he is out for at least until after the international break."

Scotland take on Ukraine both at home and away as well as Ireland in the upcoming international break.

Ryan Fraser has been handed a recall to the Scotland squad after withdrawing from a national team camp last year.

Jon McLaughlin and Ryan Porteous have both earned call-ups and Kieran Tierney and Kenny McLean come straight back in after overcoming injuries.
