Claire Byrne shared details about her RTE salary on air this morning.
The broadcaster revealed she now receives €280,000 annually from RTE for hosting her radio show. Her earnings dropped by €70,000 after her departure from Claire Byrne Live last May.
She also confirmed she received an additional €25,000 through quiz show 'Ireland's Smartest.' She explained she wanted to be honest with listeners as the fallout from RTE's pay debacle continues.
