In its third year after the immense success of previous years, the lively south London music and food festival is a celebration of African and Caribbean culture.

Where and when is the City Splash festival?
The one-day festival is taking place at Brockwell Park, Brixton in south London. It falls on the bank holiday on May 29.
Alongside a good dose of culture, food and music the day is also a spotlight on the importance of Caribbean and African music on British culture.
City Splash festival line up
City Splash will have seven stages for performances from 60 artists with a heavy focus on reggae and dancehall. Dancehall music is a rhythm-heavy subgenre of reggae originating in the 1970s in Jamaica.
The first wave line-up for 2023 includes a number of Jamaican artists including Koffee, Skillibeng, Shenseea and Chronixx.
Other artists confirmed for the day include Big Zeeks, Channel one, Ayra Starr, Dankie Sounds, Dubwise Jamaica and General Levy to name just a few.

When thinking of Jamaican and Caribbean culture, mouthwatering food often springs to mind, and City Splash will hold no bars when it comes to feeding the masses. A number of street food vendors in collaboration with Black Eats LDN will be there on the day, featuring the classics such as jerk chicken, jollof rice, fried plantains and vegan ital stew.
To quench your thirst after a feast of flavours, a number of rum vendors will be on hand and locally brewed craft beers, spirits and stouts will be available.
