A city centre McDonald's is closed as it undergoes a "big change".
The venue's doors and windows are currently boarded up with barricades blocking the entrance. Large sheets of plastic prevent passers-by from seeing exactly what is going on with the interior.
A sign in the window asking customers to visit the nearest venue at Clayton Square teases a big change for the Ranelagh Street establishment.

It said: "We're busy making some exciting changes. We reopen on July 25." Site safety notices are also displayed on the window signalling that there is construction work taking place around and inside the area.
The venue is one of several dotted around Liverpool's city centre with others located on Lord Street, St John's Square and Blundell Street.
The Liverpool Echo has contacted a McDonald's rep for further information on what the refurbishment may look like.
It's not the only Merseyside McDonald's undergoing a make over. The Liscard branch of the fast food giant, in Wallasey, Wirral, has announced it will be closing its doors for five weeks.
