A city centre restaurant that's so popular, it's even loved by the rich and famous, has reopened after a closure.
Liverpool has no shortage of incredible restaurants, with global cuisine easily accessible on a number of its vibrant streets. Food lovers and connoisseurs are practically spoilt for choice, thanks to the abundance of impressive dining options.
The Italian Club, based on Bold Street, is known and loved for its authentic Italian food, with each dish prepared fresh for diners. The small but beautiful restaurant is so beloved, it's attracted the likes of Hollywood royalty including Ralph Fiennes and Matt Smith, as well as sporting superstars like Jamie Carragher.

The restaurant shut up shop on July 20, closing down operations for two weeks to give its staff "some well-deserved time off". In a post detailing the decision on Instagram, management explained: "As everyone will be aware, the hospitality industry has had a tough few years thanks to Covid and our amazing team has worked extremely hard to help us to get through it. To give them some well-deserved time off, we will be closing for two weeks.
"Our doors will close after service on Wednesday 20th of July, and they will reopen on Friday 5th August at 5pm." They added: "Thank you for understanding, we can't wait to see you soon".
