Liverpool city centre will be host to a new pantomime this Christmas, as a production of Sleeping Beauty comes to Hope Street.
The city is no stranger to a festive pantomime, with its impressive lineup of dazzling theatres bringing songs, innuendo, laughter and more to stages across Merseyside.
Locals and tourists alike will be spoilt for choice with pantomimes coming to the Liverpool Everyman, M&S Bank Arena, The Royal Court and more.

And intimate venue Hope Street Theatre is showcasing Sleeping Beauty, with a cast of local talent. Produced by Just Entertainment LTD, the show looks set to be a popular choice this Christmas.
Lucy Forrestor will play Aurora, the eponymous Sleeping Beauty, alongside TV star and host of Liverpool Live Radio's Breakfast show Aaron Hayes as Dame Dolly.
Liverpool Live's Lesley Butler will also have a role as Carabosse, while Liverpool star Bryan Comer has been cast as Fester the Court Jester, and Gabrielle Dams will bring magic as Fairy Spells.
The quaint venue will be transformed with sparkling sets and costumes, with catchy songs designed to encourage audiences to sing and dance.
Producer Christopher Jones, of Just Entertainment, said: "I am so excited to be bringing pantomime back to The Hope Street Theatre, the intimate venue is just perfect for our first pantomime at the venue.
"We have some special magical touches being added to the space and an amazing cast of local talent that will totally enthral you and ensure you of a totally enchanting time."
Sleeping Beauty has been written by Christopher Jones, with direction by Linda Withers. It will feature choreography by Jenna Rushton.
The company will be joined by an adult ensemble from Liverpool Theatre School and a Junior Ensemble from Performers Theatre School, too.
A special relaxed performance will take place on Tuesday, December 21 at 6pm, and a BSL signed performance will take place on December 28 at 6pm.
