Cinemas across Dublin will have a fantastic offer for movie lovers this coming weekend to mark National Cinema Day.
This Saturday, September 3, a number of cinemas both large and small will be selling tickets for just €4 to mark the special day. At participating cinemas, tickets for all screenings that day will be priced at €4, regardless of the film and the time it is being shown.
Over 95% of cinemas across the Republic of Ireland are set to offer the €4 tickets to customers. These cinemas include Arc Cinemas, Carrick Cineplex, Cineworld, Eclipse Cinemas, Eye Cinema, Gate Cinemas, IMC Cinemas, Light House Cinema, Movies@ Cinemas, Odeon Cinemas, Omniplex Cinemas, Pálás Cinema, Reel Cinemas and Vue Cinemas.
Tickets for National Cinema Day are can now be purchased online through the various participating cinema websites. Additionally, film fans can purchase tickets at the box office.

Odeon Cinemas can be found in Coolock, Blanchardstown, Point Village, Stillorgan and Charlestown. Meanwhile, Movies@ is located in Swords and Dundrum, while Omniplex is located in Rathmines.
Dublin is also home to IMC Cinemas in Santry, Dun Laoghaire and O'Connell Street, Cineworld on Parnell Street, Light House Cinema in Smithfield and Vue Cinema in Liffey Valley.
Some of the films fans can expect to see for just €4 on the day include Spider-Man: No Way Home (The More Fun Stuff Version), E.T. (40th Anniversary), The Invitation, An Cailín Ciúin (The Quiet Girl), Top Gun: Maverick, Bullet Train, The Forgiven, Fall, Blackbird and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (40th Anniversary).
Director of Omniplex Cinemas Mark Anderson said: "Cinema has been an ever-present in Irish society for over 100 years and we are delighted to participate in National Cinema Day by offering €4 tickets for all shows, all day, including new releases. It is important for the industry to celebrate cinema and what better to do that than by enjoying a movie (or two) on 3rd September 2022."
