The Cincinnati Bengals have addressed the offensive line coaching positions with two hires.
Monday, the Bengals announced the hire of Scott Peters as offensive line coach, with Michael McCarthy coming along as assistant line coach.
Peters was the top assistant in Cleveland recently under Bill Callahan and served as line coach in New England last year.
“It’s my favorite division in all the NFL with the competitive nature and the rivalries,” said Peters. “I’m excited to be here in Cincinnati and doing it again from a different perspective.”
Peters replaces Frank Pollack and will be tasked with revamping the running game, improving weak spots like the interior and developing first-rounder Amarius Mims.
