Christopher Nkunku has lifted the lid on his future after having become one of the most coveted players ahead of the upcoming transfer window. The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this season after an incredibly fruit-bearing campaign at RB Leipzig.
The France international has featured 51 times for the German outfit this season, directly contributing toward 55 goals. His impressive displays have courted the attention of several top-flight European sides, with the west Londoners among those who has registered an interest.
Chelsea remain interested in the forward ahead of the summer transfer window, football.london understands. Nkunku was scouted by the Blues this season, and Thomas Tuchel's side could look to make a move for him this summer.

According to French publication L'Equipe, Chelsea could be the first club to bid for the forward, with Todd Boehly eager to arm the Blues with sufficient firepower to combat Manchester City and Liverpool. The new ownership group consortium, which completed a £4.25billion deal to buy the west London club last week, are expected to 'push for A-list signings' to mark a new era at Stamford Bridge, according to the MailOnline.
With Boehly eager to bolster Tuchel's side, The Telegraph report that after player sales are taken into account, Chelsea are set to be granted a £200million war chest. Though, Nkunku, who has two years remaining on his deal with RB Leipzig, is understood to be in talks with the German side over a new deal.
In an interview with French television broadcaster Telefoot this weekend, as quoted by GFFN, the highly sought-after forward broke his silence regarding his next step. Nkunku said: "It’s no secret. There are clubs interested in me. Yes it’s flattering, but it’s also flattering to have a club like Leipzig do everything to keep me as well.
"I’ll have to reflect well and make a decision. The World Cup is on the way and that’s another factor to take into account."
Nkunku, who has previously confessed his desire to return to Paris Saint-German - his childhood club - one day, was then asked what he would do if the French giants approached him. He replied: "Like I’ve said, I’ll simply have to reflect on it."
But, regardless of whether Tuchel can land the £77m-rated forward, he is keen to undergo a rebuild at Chelsea this summer. Speaking to football.london, the Blues boss said: "We are rebuilding, not improving the squad. We are rebuilding. This is always challenging, but we are up for the challenge.
"I don't know where we are from day one. What I can promise is that I will be here – if I can promise that – I will be here with full energy and positive energy no matter what. We will still work for Chelsea, and I refuse to think of negative scenarios. We will be competitive, on which level we will see.
"On how the delay and sanctions will affect us, there is a risk. It will be very challenging to make up for the disadvantage, given the situation of the other two teams: City and Liverpool, who are already improving the squad and set one benchmark after the other in all aspects of the game."
