Christopher Jullien is 'pretty much finished' at Celtic and will leave claims Hoops hero

Christopher Jullien will leave Celtic this summer and is 'not liked' as a player by Ange Postecoglou.

That's the verdict of Hoops hero Frank McAvennie.

The Frenchman has found first-team chances at Celtic difficult to come by following his return from a long-term injury.

Cameron Carter-Vickers and Carl Starfelt struck up a strong partnership as the Hoops went on to recapture the Scottish Premiership title from Rangers and win the Premier Sports Cup.

The Hoops will play in the Champions League proper thanks to their title triumph.

But Macca reckons Jullien won't be a part of it and will be SOLD this summer.

He believes the 29-year-old - who is going into the final year of his current deal - is 'pretty much finished' at Parkhead

Speaking to Football Insider, he said: “It’s clear that Ange doesn’t like him [Jullien].

“There were so many games to play last season and he never got a look in, that tells me he’s pretty much finished at Celtic.

“Carter-Vickers and Starfelt played every game. I think one of them needs a big, powerful defender to partner them at the back and you would think Jullien fits that mould.

“But he hasn’t played and it doesn’t sound like he’s injured again so Ange clearly doesn’t like him as a player.

“I expect he will leave this summer because Ange won’t keep anyone who isn’t contributing.”
