The bond between fans and owners within football is sometimes worlds apart, but Notts County owners Christoffer and Alexander Reedtz have emphasised the importance of creating a strong relationship between themselves and the Magpies fanbase.
The Danish brothers took over the club back in 2019 after buying Notts from former owner Alan Hardy, with the first step in their ownership seeing them pay overdue wages to staff and players, just three days after completing their takeover at Meadow Lane.
During Hardy's ownership, fans felt distant from the club and wanted answers during a turbulent period in its 157-year existence.

When acquiring the club, the Reedtz brothers understood that patience and stability were crucial to progression at Meadow Lane if Notts were going to progress.
And despite this season being their fourth attempt of finally escaping the National League, the stability surrounding the club since the takeover has been reassuring and something Notts fans are extremely grateful for, with hopes of promotion higher than ever before following their start to the campaign.
On matchdays, the brothers are often seen sat in the stands home and away supporting Luke Williams' men, having a front row seat to watch the squad assembled by the new Notts manager.
And Christoffer explained he enjoys travelling up and down the country supporting the Magpies, while making sure he speaks to fans of the club at every given opportunity.
"Absolutely, in addition to being in the business of football we are also football fans, and fans of Notts County," said Reedtz.
"We like to go to the matches and we both enjoy when we get the chance to speak to the fans whether that is home or away games.
"We try to go as many games as possible and it something that we both really enjoy doing."
This season has seen a number of brilliant performances by the Magpies, including wins over fellow play-off rivals Wrexham, Solihull Moors and Woking.
And when asked about which game this season had been the most enjoyable, the pair disagreed on their favourite Notts match, with one of the Magpies' most recent away triumphs the highlight for Alexander.
"I think we played against Solihull, we won 1-0 but it was a really good performance, but we are fortunate to have a number of games to choose from," Christoffer said.
"I enjoyed the away win against Wealdstone recently, it was a brilliant performance," added Alexander.
