Christmas will start early for one lucky Nottingham Victoria Centre shopper

A lucky shopper will be able to get Christmas wrapped up in one fell swoop if they can guess the value of all the prizes in Victoria Centre's Win a Window competition. The competition, which also ran in March, is back by popular demand at the Nottingham shopping centre.

Rounding off its year of 50th birthday celebrations, from November 28 to December 11, shoppers will have the chance to bag a window full of prizes from top Victoria Centre retailers like John Lewis & Partners, Boots, JD Sports, The Entertainer, Chisholm Hunter and Morphe.

All the gifts are on display in the window on the upper level in a unit next to E-Nails. Guesses should be submitted online, via the Victoria Centre Win a Window page. The person who correctly guesses the exact value will be crowned the winner.

Commenting on the festive return of Win a Window, which is being run in partnership with Gem Radio, centre director Nigel Wheatley said: "After receiving a staggering number of entries when we first ran this competition back in March, we knew Win a Window was the perfect activity to help us round off a fantastic year of 50th celebrations, and a brilliant opportunity for us to give one of our shoppers a very special treat, just in time for Christmas. From November 28, those visiting the centre will be able to stop by the window and guess the value of the products.

"Shoppers will find a mix of retailers in our window, with gifts available from Christmas many wish-list favourites. To help you guess to the nearest penny, visit each of our retailers in-store, and simply submit your answer online.

"One lucky winner will take home a whole host of brilliant gifts, from toys, Christmas collections, beauty hampers and stunning jewellery, plus luxury pamper sessions and delicious goodies." Shoppers can combine their trip with a visit to the centre's magical Glow Room, a free light display, which opens from December 2.

Adding to the festive spirit and to give something back this Christmas, Victoria Centre’s Giving Boxes have also returned to the mall, as part of Mission Christmas, a nationwide gift appeal run by Cash for Kids. Shoppers are being invited to pick up an extra toy or gift in-store to add to the donation. This year’s two boxes can be found on the ground floor, outside Millie’s Cookies and John Lewis & Partners.
