The most festive season of the year is beloved by many but can the Christmas cheer last after the 25th?
One online platform is trying to test the theory and they’re going to be giving hundreds of euro to those who want to participate in the research. The lucky participants in their study can get an impressive monetary reward just for watching Christmas movies, listening to their favourite seasonal playlists and eating Christmas meals and receiving gifts every day.
The best part? The cash reward is the euro equivalent to $1,000 – at the moment that’s €949.13. All the other perks are paid for by the platform organising this cheer-inducing research, EduBirdie. The worst part? Only 25 participants will be selected and you’d have to compete with people from other EU countries, the UK, the States, Canada, Singapore, Japan, and Mexico.

The professional writing and academic aid platform is trying to figure out how we can stay charged with the Christmas mood even after the holiday has passed. They’re opening the Christmas Moodcatcher position for those famous among their friends and family for their Christmas cheer.
The participants will be sorted into five groups. The “Home Aloners” will have to watch at least one signature Christmas movie every day for two weeks. The “Cookie Guards” will have the tough job of eating various Christmas meals and cookies each day (the menu would be agreed with the participants in advance).
The “Heartgivers” will have to listen to their favourite Christmas playlist for two weeks after the season has officially ended and see if that keeps the vibe alive. The fourth group will be getting small presents based on their preferences every day, and the luckiest group will have all of these perks at once.
Each group will work on their assignments exactly two weeks after they are announced as Moodcatchers on the day after Christmas, 26 December. To find out more, go to EduBirdie’s website .
