As the winter months creep in and many of us look towards Christmas, beauty buffs will be relieved to know that Lush's much sought-after Snow Fairy line is back in stock ahead of the festive season. Unfortunately, Lush's range is quite pricey, and as many of us will be looking for bargains in light of the current cost of living crisis, the scented bath products could be out of price range for some.
Thankfully eagle-eyed shoppers have spotted that The Range have produced a Christmas soap that is a dead ringer for The Snow Fairy line. Not only is the brand's Snow Fairy lookalike cheaper, but customers are raving that the scent is so similar, that it’s going to take a highly attuned nose to tell the difference.
So impressed was one happy shopper, that she took to TikTok to share her discovery. Becky Short’s post has seen fans of the coveted Lush soap to run and try the cheaper version from The Range.
Posting under the username @ becshx, the woman said: "Okay, I don't know whether this is a thing but I went to The Range yesterday and I picked up this," marvelled Becky in her video.
"Ice Fairy soap - it smells the exact same as Snow Fairy from Lush and it was, like, £2 something."
The Range is listing the soap for £2.49 on its website, and while it's unfortunately sold out currently, you can sign up to be notified when it's back.
The original Lush soap bar will set you back £6.50, meaning shoppers are enjoying a serious saving.
Becky points out that the bright pink product has up to 50 uses, so it will last a while before you have to open up another.
''They've got like all different ones. It's like a soap sponge and I can still smell it on me now,'' Becky said, seemingly bowled over by her find.
She urged shoppers to go and hunt down the budget beauty buy, as she said: "You need to go get it cause its's the exact same!"
Other Lush fans were delighted by The Range's similar offering, as one wrote: "'OMGG !!! Yess it smells the exact same".
The budget store is also renowned for its other festive offerings, including its glass Christmas tree jars that fly off the shelves.
Last year they completely sold out as the demand was high, but they are back, as one person wrote "EEEK! It's BACK," on the store's Facebook post announcing their return.
"That's right, the Glass Christmas Tree Jar is back again this year be quick to shop, this one will not stay rooted in stores for long", the post reads.
The glass, Christmas tree -shaped jars can be put to a multitude of uses. Fill with pine cones or acorns for decoration, or squeeze in some tinsel, mini crackers, or, probably the best choice, festive sweets.
Comments on its Facebook page were lavishing it with praise and a variety of uses.
"This would be cute full of wee marshmallow for hot chocolate area," said one.
Another, with acute fear of missing out, said, "I didn’t realise it was a sell out last year. Now I feel I need one!"
