It's always one of the most spectacular displays in London, and the first pictures of the Kew Gardens Christmas lights have now been revealed.
The lights return this evening for a seventh year, and will be open to the public until January 5.
As ever, Christmas at Kew is offering guests the chance to explore the historic setting of the botanical gardens via an illuminated trail featuring more than a million festive lights.
A new trail will take guests around the gardens via an 18 metre-high treetop walkway in the Kew arboretum. A brand new installation will also feature “waterfalls”, featuring four columns of light spilling down from the Treetop Walkway.
Other highlights include a Fire Garden, a family-friendly fairground, an installation featuring 8,000 LED vines and the Palm House finale – which will see projections displayed across the lake and onto the glasshouse.
This year Kerb will also be on hand to serve delicious street food, with traders like Prairie Fire BBQ and Meltsmiths in residence.
