An exciting Christmas pop-up store supporting female-owned Irish businesses is coming to Dublin.
If you want to get a headstart on your Christmas shopping then this fa-la-labulous one-day only event will take place at Union Cafe at Mount Merrion on Friday, November 11. There will be nine incredible stores selling everything from beauty products (you can never go wrong with makeup gift sets) to gorgeous dinnerware (to impress the guests).
The idea for the pop-up store was conceived by Dubliners Samantha Ashe and Orla Dunlea. Samantha, who is the owner of Hostaro Tableware, told Dublin Live: "We’re all Irish businesses. We’ve got everything that can be a gift.

"I still think online shopping is soaring but it’s a really nice opportunity, especially with occasions like Christmas. It’s really nice to be there and meet people in person and to touch the products and see what they’re like."
Samantha added: "One of the reasons why I’m doing it is because my designs are so unique and for people to actually touch and see the quality, it’s going to be really important. Especially if you’re investing in dinnerware, it’s actually nice to see it in person."
Samantha will be joined by eight other women entrepreneurs including Orla who designs luxury gifts inspired by Ireland's landscape and heritage. Shoppers can enjoy complimentary drinks and nibbles on arrival.
Samantha said: "The owner of The Arty Fox has also offered to do a little workshop with the kids while the mums and dads are shopping. It'll be lovely."
