Christine Quinn has confirmed she will return for season six of Selling Sunset despite her departure from the Oppenheim Group.
Speaking to US Weekly, the reality TV star said "I love the show" when she was working to promote her new book How To Be A Boss B***h.
The 33-year-old told the magazine: “The show is, like, my No. 1 [and] everyone knows that. But we just have to get creative now because I don’t work for the Oppenheim Group. Maybe it’s a battle of the brokerages.”
Christine, who is originally from Texas, claimed fans of the Netflix show would see “a really interesting dynamic” build between her and her former co-workers when the show returns to our screens.
“I’m not going anywhere,” she said. “Like, I’ll always be on television. I’m not going anywhere. It’s just, like, let’s have fun with this now.”
She also explained that - out of the people at the Oppenheim Group — she wanted newcomers Chelsea Lazkani and Vanessa Villela to back her up after she “terminated [her] contract” with the real estate office.
Back in April it was confirmed that the ex-model was set to leave the high-end brokerage.
When it came to Christine's position with the company season five ended on a bit of a cliffhanger, but a source later revealed it was Christine's decision to walk after her bio was removed from the official website.
Even though she's been through highs and lows, Christine said there was no bitterness between her and Jason Oppenheim, who previously suggested there may no longer be any room for her at the company during a previous episode.
Christine said that she and her former boss are "in a really good place." In the most recent season of the show, viewers saw Jason, 45, start to quiz Christine after it was alleged that she offered $5,000 to a client of Emma Hernan‘s in trade for ceasing work with the Boston native.
Chrishell Stause’s ex-boyfriend and Mary Fitzgerald attempted to examine what actually went down, but Christine was adamant that she did nothing wrong.
“Bless their hearts for trying,” Christine told the magazine.
"But no, that absolutely did not happen. I watched the show and I was shocked. I was completely shocked.”
It was also said that Christine and her former boss have remained in contact since the drama unfolded, and they seem to have reached an understanding.
Now the TV star, with the help of her husband, Christian Richard, are working towards launching their own project RealOpen.com.
The venture is set to merge cryptocurrency into the real estate business.
The star now has lots of exciting things to look forward to, and she said that leaving the real estate office "was not a hard decision."
“I was in an environment where people weren’t so supportive of my goals,” she revealed.
“I saw a trend change in the future and I needed to meet that trend, and I needed to be ahead of the curve.
"So that’s why I had to start my business. I saw a hole in the market where buyers and sellers were coming to me and saying, you know, ‘Hi, I have all this cryptocurrency and I need to be able to do a transaction.' I’m so happy I did it."
