Christine Quinn calls out 'fake' Selling Sunset storylines

Selling Sunset season five promises: "New loves. Old foes. A fresh face. With the luxury market on fire, competition comes to a boil at the brokerage. Who'll shine — and who'll stumble?"

Who'll stumble, indeed? Probably everyone in those heels. Set in the world of LA’s high-end housing market, the reality show follows the city's most successful female realtors who all work under the same roof at The Oppenheim Group and this time we're following multiple storylines including what happens when Chrishell Stause (a realtor) starts dating Oppenheim boss, Jason Oppenheim. (Now, sadly broken up - R.I.P to that short-lived but highly entertaining relationship).

However, one of the stars of the show, Christine Quinn, has taken to her Twitter to claim that the show is 'fake' and to be honest, we're pretty shocked. She said in a Tweet ahead of the season launch: "30 minutes till the launch of #SellingSunset, enjoy the new season and all of its 5,000 fake storylines."

Fake sorry, what? Don't tell us that this isn't a totally candid, fly-on-the-wall situation where the cameras happen to catch the cast behaving totally naturally at work, dressed in entirely normal work attire and living their lives as normal citizens of L.A?

It is not clear exactly what the Netflix star was referring to with her tweet. In a follow-up Tweet she annouced her new business website realopen.com: "Why work for someone else when you can be your own CEO? It took over a year of hard work and tenacity to create this platform and patent-pending technology to revolutionize the housing market. My Boss B**** manifesto is don’t STOP until you are the Boss of your own life. YOU and only you control your storyline. It was a moon shot, and now it’s a reality. Crypto is the new global financial system. Why ride the wave, when you can help create it."

Selling Sunset seasons 1-5 are currently streaming on Netflix.
