Christine McGuinness signs off until 2023 after 'guilty' confession

Christine McGuinness has shared plans to "hibernate" as she made a "guilty" confession.

The countdown to the festive season is underway as Christmas Day arrives on Sunday, and the former Miss Liverpool has said she plans to spend December 25 with her ex Paddy McGuinness and their three children.

The two announced their split in July but still live together to co-parent Leo, Felicity and Penelope.

On Friday, Christine said she is getting settled to see the year out, as she shared a clip from a photoshoot she did with OK! magazine last week. Captioning the post, the 34-year-old said: "Guilty [devil emoji].

"Of using last weeks glam on the gram because I’m still in my pjs and planning on hibernating until 2023" [sic].

It comes after Christine admitted a failed attempt at Christmas shopping earlier this week. In a clip on her Instagram Story, she said: "I've got back in the car with a headache, some chips. I did buy a bottle of water as well but I left it at the till.

"The kids are sorted, which is the most important thing. I'm happy about them, that's gorgeous, but I'm giving up. I'm not doing it. I've left with nothing but a headache.

"See that sunset over there, I'm gonna go and find that. That's just so much better. I'd rather look at the sunset than go shopping."
