Christine McGuinness has told fans she's 'never looking back' as she teased her plan to go away solo. The mum-of-three revealed earlier this month that she was planning a getaway as her ex-husband Paddy gave a rare, and brilliantly honest, insight into life as a dad-of-three as the former couple continue to live together in their Cheshire home.
Taking to Instagram last week, she posted a picture of her being snapped taking a selfie in a sun-soaked location as she said: "Dear universe. More sunshine and sunsets please." Christine added: "Can anyone recommend where this mama can get some heat April-May? Not too far away.. 4hrs max." She also posted the same call out to her Instagram Story and said: "Help me out. Where am I going this year?" before saying: "I need heat!"
However, over the weekend, she thanked her fans for their support after she made what she described as a 's**t realisation'. Taking to Instagram, the model and documentary maker filmed some of her journey on the train to London where she is spending some time for work this week.
And during her journey to London, it appears Christine almost took the plunge and booked a getaway but her stopped herself in her tracks. "Just almost booked a flight while sitting on a train then realised I can't just keep flying away when things get too much in my head," she typed alongside a video of her sitting in her seat on the travelling train.
But as she made it safe and sound to her hotel room, Christine shared a moody room selfie as she could barely be seen as she posed in the mirror of the dimly lit room. "Thank you all for explaining that 'escapism' is nothing to feel bad about," the 35-year-old typed alongside the snap. "It's a beautiful coping mechanism really. And surely that is better than feeling stuck or lost." She then added: "I appreciate you," with a heart."
However, it does appear a trip is on the cards as she shared a snap to her Instagram Story from a previous sunshine break. It showed Christine, 35, with her back to the camera as she donned a tiny blue bikini set. She could be seen raising her toned arms to play with her blonde locks as she looked out to the sea view while taking a dip in an infinity pool.
"Never looking back..." she started to type to her followers. "I'm ready for a busy half term focussed on my little family," she went on to say with a string of red hearts. "Then.. [plane emoji]. This mama needs some R&R," she added.
It comes after Christine didn't hold back as she sent a sweary message while risking trouble on Instagram with a clothesless snap. The former Real Housewivea of Cheshire star was working away from home at the time and in a candid message on Wednesday (March 29), she told fans she was "absolutely f****d!"
She penned the short message alongside the bed snap to her Instagram Story. Christine could be seen with her eyes closed as she snuggled her head into her pillow, with her blonde tresses covering her face while hiding her modesty with her quilt. And while she could be seen showing her pearly whites for the camera, she told her followers: "Absolutely f***** but still smiling, so we move."
