Christine McGuinness took to social media today to reveal that she was planning a birthday bash for her twins Leo and Penelope alone while her husband Paddy trained in the gym.
The proud mum, 34, took to her Instagram stories on Saturday share a glimpse into the fun-filled party which she threw for her nine-year-old twins.
The author and TV star revealed that the amazing birthday party was taking place in the garden of the couple's £2.1million Cheshire mansion.
Christine told her adoring fans that she couldn't quite believe that her first-born children are now nine-years-old as she gushed over her pride about becoming a mother.
"Nine years ago today I became a mum - that was all I ever wanted. I had my twins Leo and Penelope - I can't believe they're nine," the mum-of-three told her fans.
"Honestly I can remember it like it was yesterday, they were born at 9:20 and 9:21, Leo was 6lbs 7 and a half and Penelope was 6lbs 10 and it's just been unconditional love from that moment.
"Honestly, it's all I ever wanted," she added.
Christine then went on to mock her husband Paddy, 48, who was working out in the gym while she took care of all the party planning.
"Anyway today I am organising a kids party on my own - send help," she joked.
"I'm so excited for my twins, they are just getting their clothes on, waiting for their friends and their cousins to come. And the sun is shining."
Meanwhile, Paddy took to his own Instagram account to show off his gym skills while his wife organised the birthday bash at home.
The TV presenter showed himself working his triceps as he trained hard on a power tower.
Alongside the video of Paddy working up a sweat, he penned: "Remember when we used to go out on Saturday nights? #rockandroll #weekend #gym #saturday #partyforone #dippywhippywoos."
It comes as the proud parents shared a rare family picture while wishing their twins happy birthday on social media within hours of the other, amid speculation the pair have split up.
Rumours circled that Paddy, 48, and Christine, 34, might have broken up, after it appeared the heart tattoo on his wedding finger had disappeared.
However, The Games star Christine shut down the speculation last week when she flaunted her huge diamond wedding ring on Instagram, as she headed to a charity ball.
And on Saturday, Paddy shared a touching message about his twins Leo and Penelope, on Instagram, writing: "Happy Birthday to my first borns! 9 years old today and still my babies!!!! Love you Leo & Penelope, Daddy’s so proud of you."
On her account Christine posted the same picture a few hours before Paddy, writing underneath: "9 years of loving you, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my twins Leo and Penelope, you made my dream of being a mummy come true, I am so proud of everything you are, your good manners, the obstacles you overcome, your determination, sense of humour and your kindness to others."
