Christine McGuinness was left laughing and mocking Paddy McGuinness in a rare video of the pair at home following their split. The couple announced they had separated back in July following rumours their 11-year marriage had come to an end.
Top Gear host Paddy and former Real Housewives of Cheshire star posted identical statements on Instagram at the time where they opened up about making the "difficult decision". They shared that they had split "some time ago" but that they "still live happily in our family home together" as they look after their three children.
And earlier this week, fans were pleased to see the pair taking part in some family festive fun together with nine-year-old twins Leo and Penelope, and daughter Felicity, six, seen in seperate Instagram videos helping to put up the Christmas tree in their stunning family home.
And the moving moment is a huge step for the family as for years they couldn't have one at home as the kids found it overwhelming. Christine, 34, said "dreams do come true" as she posted a sweet picture of the siblings captivated by the tree with her Instagram followers.
Paddy, 49, also shared in the joy as the Bolton-born TV star shared his video with his millions of followers. "The tree is up!!!" he posted alongside the video which show the children helping pick out the decorations before showing the family cat sat in its own festive basket underneath the tree.
"Always loved this day right from being a little lad. You done yours yet? I’m officially in Chrimmy mode!!!" Paddy added before being flooded with comments, to which he replied 'at last' to one as a follower said: "Lovely to see your children getting involved and Millie in the Xmas bed finally lol."
Paddy has since taken to Instagram again with the TV star being seen dancing around their kitchen. He could be seen donning a beige baggy T-shirt, yellow shorts and Adidas sports socks. And the former Take Me Out host appeared impressed with his attire, laughing as he posed and strutted around in a pair of sliders much to Christine's amusement as the 34-year-old filmed him in action.
"What the f**k are they?" Christine hilariously quizzed referring to Paddy's sandals which were made of a soft teddy knit fabric, before bursting into giggles. "Are they for me?" she then asked as Paddy carried on dancing around without a care for Christine's apparent mocking.
Captioning the video, Paddy wrote to his millions of followers: "Style. It’s something you’re born with. #fierce #style #icon." And it appears his fans were divided with some a fan of Paddy's look and others echoing Christine's comments. @atchiick said: "WT actual F are they ?? You were robbed of cash!!!"
@alison.silvester wrote: "As Christine says WTF are they." But @david.hough.585 commented: "I'd have no issues at all wearing those beasts." @xxk.a.r.e.nxx replied: "They look comfy though." @dark_opal warned: "As long as you don’t wear them outside." @andytaylor8272 added: "Go on Paddy rock them sliders."
But then, Paddy was replacing Christine with a new partner. He returned to Instagram with a snap of himself taking a dip in a health centre's spa with rapper Lethal Bizzle. The pair could be seen braving the cool temperatures side by side with Paddy giving a stunned look to the camera while Lethal, whose real name is Maxwell Owusu Ansah, could be seen breathing his way through.
"In a cold plunge with @lethalbizzle How’s your Wednesday going?" Paddy captioned the post before appearing to tease a work project as he adding in a set of hashtags 'new bits' and 'coming soon'.
