Christine McGuinness said she had to laugh as she made a parenting blunder, blaming December for leaving her head 'frazzled'. The former model's frank admission with her loyal followers comes after she enjoyed a quiet start to the New Year.
Christine was applauded just days ago when she shared an empowering post on New Year's Eve. The glam mum-of-three said she was "more than ready" for the new year as she renamed 2023. The 34-year-old shared a montage on Instagram showing some of her highlights from 2022 including taking part in the ITV celeb sports contest The Games.
The former Real Housewives of Cheshire star typed: "More than ready for 202FREE," before addingto her fans: "Thank you for sticking with me this year. I appreciate you." On New Year's Day, Christine shared how she headed out for some fresh air with her children and kicked off the year by feeding the ducks.
Posing by a lake in a baby pink coat and matching beanie hat, Christine wrote on Instagram: "First photo of 2023. HNY everyone I hope you are all well and safe. Whatever you chose to do, I hope you chose what was best for you!" She then added: "I stayed home and woke up with my babies today, we went to feed the ducks. Perfect start to my year."
Ex-husband Paddy also appeared to join in on the trip with the couple's children - nine-year-old twins Leo and Penelope, and daughter Felicity, six.
But on Monday evening, as Christine glammed up for what appeared to be an event, the mum-of-three admitted to suffering a bit of a mishap when it came to getting her kids prepared to got back to school. Christine shared how she had been getting her children, who have autism, ready by doing a daily countdown until their return.
However, Christine got the day they were due back in the classroom wrong. "It's only the 2nd of January and I've already f***ed up," the glam star said into the camera. "Told the kids they were going back to school tomorrow didn't I. Turns out they're not. I've been doing this whole countdown calendar, bags are packed, and uniforms are all ironed, hung up and ready to go.
"I've even polished their shoes. Yeah, they're not going back, are they. They've still got a couple of days off. I had booked all my hair, lashes and nails... I was having a full MOT."
She then appeared giggling as she said: "It's not that bad really, I'll survive! My mum's here so I'm just trying on some clothes. Playing a bit of dress-up even though I haven't got anywhere to go. My January diary is looking a bit depressing and empty. I need to book myself a mini-break or something."
She then typed alongside both posts on her Instagram Story: "Forever getting my dates wrong. December has frazzled my head. She then added: "You've got to laugh [crying laughing emoji]. Life's not all bad. I'm blessed with 3 beauties," before adding a string of heart emojis.
