Christine McGuinness 'frustrated' as she's forced into social media silence

Christine McGuinness was frustrated and confused as she explained her absence on social media.

The former Miss Liverpool model had been trying to share some pictures with some of her 687,000 Instagram followers. But whenever she tried to post she was met with error messages instead - meaning she was forced to be silent on the social media platform.

After hours of trying she finally managed to upload a video explaining the situation to her stories. In a short video, showing her sat in her car, the mum-of-three said: "I've been trying to use my Instagram the last couple of days and it's just not letting me do anything."

Christine added: "I can't like anyone's pictures or comment on posts. I can't upload anything myself. I don't get it." She explained that she tried everything that Google suggested as she said: "I don't know if this story is going to work but if anyone can help me let me know."

After a few hours, Christine gleefully announced her return to social media. She posted an image of her holding a hot drink as she threw her other hand up into a peace sign.

The 34-year-old wrote: "We are back! I love a little social media quiet time now and again but the last few days wasn't my choice and I wanted to share pics.

"I won't lie it frustrated me sooooo much because I didn't know why! But... it's sorted. I'm back!"

She went on to share an image of her recreating "one of 2022's most iconic moments". She stripped down to just a sports bra and white shorts as she held a t-shirt in her hand and ran across a pitch.

Christine gushed over England's Lionesses as she wrote: "Recreating one of 2022s most iconic moments with @heatworld just for fun! I was there the day @chloekelly hit the winning goal for England.

"We all thought it was going to go to penalties. I remember watching it from the box, just thinking, ‘Please, please – come on, girls, you know women do what men can’t.'

"And she scored! It was 2-1 and she scored in extra time and the celebrations were just incredible, I’ve never seen anything like it!
Unreal @lionesses."
