Christine McGuinness flooded with support as she announces major milestone eight months after split from husband Paddy

Former ITV star of the Real Housewives of Cheshire Christine McGuinness has made a major life announcement. Eight months after her split from fellow ITV star Paddy McGuinness, the model and mum-of-three has well and truly come into her own.

The 34-year-old has famously spoken about her own struggle with autism and that of her children in the past - a move which has made her particularly popular amongst parents. Now Christine is taking her mission to spread awareness to a whole new level, and has a documentary coming to the BBC next week.

The model mum shared the news on Instagram, where she thanked fans for all of their support for her autism cause over the past years Addressing her 692k followers, she wrote: "Thank you for shining a light around autism. Talking about my new @bbc documentary “Unmasking my autism” airing next Wednesday the 15th March at 9pm @bbcone."

The post quickly caught the attention of fans, who rushed to support Christine. alwaysstylish_lisa said: "Will be watching this. Diagnosed at 47 with both adhd and autism after years of being misdiagnosed. So so glad you have made this programme.."

Christine McGuinness' documentary “Unmasking my autism” airs on BBC One at 9pm on Wednesday March 15th.
