Christine Lampard reacts as husband Frank announced as Everton manager

Christine Lampard has issued her full support to her husband Frank after he was confirmed as the new Everton manager.

Lampard has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the club after Rafael Benitez was sacked last month.

In May 2018, Lampard was appointed as manager of Championship club Derby County.

He left the role to become the new head coach at his former club Chelsea in July 2019.

However, in January 2021, Lampard was dismissed by Chelsea and replaced by Thomas Tuchel.

And supporting Lampard all the way, is one of his biggest champions, his wife, Christine.

Previously, when Lampard was appointed at Chelsea, Christine told Loose Women: "It has been mad. It's quite a big deal it's been a bit of a whirlwind couple of days, but yeah he's there now, it's a huge deal for all of us.

Christine shares her support (Instagram)

"We had the most remarkable year in Derby all the fans were fantastic, we were very privileged to have that year."

And it appears she is very supportive of his new role at Everton as she posted an update on Instagram.

Sharing a video of his first interview with the club, the TV presenter added a blue heart and football emoji.
