In a conversation about her best candle with The Strategist, Ricci Revealed that her favorite is the fragrance she designed for West Elm. She explained: 'We’d been working on this tarot deck, the Cat Full of Spiders Tarot Deck and Guidebook, for about three years, and a few months ago, we started talking to West Elm about doing a special-edition deck as well as a collection of accouterments that could go along with the ritual of tarot, like this candle.'
However, Ricci relies on the home goods store for more than just her signature scent. She states: 'I was so excited; I’ve always been such a huge West Elm fan. It’s my go-to place for all things home, really.' Christina Ricci really is just like us.
Christina Ricci's fragrance 'Belle Aire' has notes of mandarin, safe leaf, pink pepper, clove, black pepper, smoke, mahogany, cedarwood, and oud accord. Available in both one and three-wick designs for a versatile burn.
Ricci's home fragrance is unique and mysterious. 'The scent is based on a couple of scents that I love and am addicted to,' she explains. 'This candle has now become the one that I use the most and I’m obsessed with. It has a sort of woodsy, smoky, herbaceous feel to it. It’s fresh and light, but the smokiness of it makes it feel really cozy and intoxicating. Herbaceous is the only word I can think of, but, you know, it’s not a word I use normally.
