Christian Pulisic has been given a fresh set of options ahead of a potential move away from Chelsea this summer with his career in west London seemingly coming to an end. The American has under 18 months left on his deal and Todd Boehly is keen to shift underperforming and overpaid players at the end of the season.
As part of a massive 33-man squad managed by Graham Potter, Pulisic faces new competition from a host of new attackers signed in January with the prospect of falling further behind when Christopher Nkunku officially joins too. With no offer of a new deal coming it is apparent that his future lies elsewhere.
Wheere that next destination is remains uncertain though with interest from Manchester United and Newcastle since last summer. The USMNT's stand-in captain remains a catch for clubs across the continent but finding a way to move him on in a good move for all parties has proved tough.

A loan move was discussed under Thomas Tuchel last year but, as with Hakim Ziyech, the deal fell through and left Pulisic fighting for his position in the team once more. Before being injured on January 5 it was thought that he may have departed over the winter but another setback for the winger put an end to that.
"No chance (of Pulisic leaving), no," Potter said during the window. "There was never any consideration of anything about that anyway but he's a couple of months. He's disappointed but he's optimistic that he can come back quicker than the two months so he's in that phase where he's just trying to keep his fingers crossed and hopefully his rehab goes well."
He has since returned to action and has been elevated above Mykhailo Mudryk in the squad so far but transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio doesn't expect that to remain the case. Speaking to MyBettingSites he said: “Chelsea buy players like they are sweets so I can see players leaving in the summer. Players will need to leave if they are to buy other forwards and strikers.”
“It’s very easy to imagine that Christian Pulisic will leave in the summer. I think he will but I don´t know which club he could go to. I would love to see him in Italy and that could definitely be an option for him.”
AC Milan were one of the teams after him alongside Juventus as well, clear interest from Serie A but the financial inequality between the leagues has proven hard to get over. Chelsea and Pulisic will both be keen to get a move that suits them both over the summer and have a clear period between now and then to make that a reality.
