AC Milan are continuing to push for a move to sign Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic. The Italian giants are yet to agree on a deal with the Blues and there is still some distance between each club's valuation of the USMNT forward.
Pulisic's contract at Stamford Bridge expires in 2024, meaning he will leave the club on a free transfer if no deal materialises this year. The 24-year-old has failed to break into the Chelsea team since he arrived at the club in 2018, seeing just 812 Premier League minutes across 24 games last season
Recent reports have claimed the Rossoneri want to bring the former Borussia Dortmund star to the San Siro for €15 million ($16.4m). Right now, Chelsea are demanding more than €20m ($21.8m), but it's expected that stance will soften as the transfer window progresses.
The two clubs have recently formed a strong relationship following Ruben Loftus-Cheek's move to Milan. The 27-year-old is close to securing a deal to Italy after a deal worth £18m was agreed earlier this week. Further talks involving goalkeeper Mike Maignan are expected to follow.
If Pulisic is going to secure a move to Milan this summer, a fee will have to be agreed between the two clubs. Fortunately for Milan, personal terms don't seem to be a problem. According to Gazzetta, the USA star has said 'yes' to the project and is ready to cut his annual salary in hope of leaving Chelsea.
The same report states that German sportswear brand Puma, who sponsor Pulisic and are Milan's kit sponsor, are ready to intervene to help secure the transfer.

Pulisic's stance on a move to Milan comes after incoming USMNT head coach Gregg Berhalter insisted the move is an 'attractive destination. Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, he said: “Christian plays for Chelsea but Italy and Milan are still very attractive destinations, not least because of the possibility of playing in the Champions League.
"But no advice, these are personal choices."
