Chelsea star Christian Pulisic wasted no time in toasting the Kansas City Chiefs' stunning Super Bowl LVII success overnight.
Patrick Mahomes recovered from an ankle injury late in the first half to lead his side to an epic comeback win and claim his second Super Bowl win. The Chiefs did just enough to beat the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL's showpiece game with a field goal kicked with only seconds on the clock to give Mahomes' men an unassailable lead.
Pulisic, the United States of America winger, was photographed on Reece James' Instagram story wearing a signed Mahomes jersey with the Pennsylvania native clearly a fan of the Super Bowl LVII MVP. "Great start to my Monday," James wrote with a picture of Pulisic sporting the Chiefs apparel.

Pulisic shared James' snap to his own story, tagging Mahomes alongside a goat emoji. Mahomes is well on the way to greatness, with the 2017 NFL Draft pick leading the Chiefs to five AFC Championship games in five seasons as the club's starting quarterback.
Comparisons with Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers are plentiful but the NFL is known for its competitiveness. "I am not going to say a dynasty yet, we are not done," said Mahomes.
"I told you nothing was going to keep me off the field. I want to thank my team-mates - we challenged each other and it took everybody." "He's one of the greatest coaches of all time. I think everybody knew that, but these last two Super Bowls kind of cemented that.
"To have someone that is such a great person who gets the best out of the players, you wanted to win those Super Bowls for him. It's great that we did that." The NFL now pauses until the regular season begins later on this year in September, with the NFL Draft, in April, the next big item on the League's calendar.
