Christian Pulisic has been namechecked in a pitch to prospective Chelsea bidders as potential Roman Abramovich successors have been told the club can double its revenue.
It's been reported that there are as many as 200 parties looking into buying the Blues. Nick Candy, a consortium led by LA Dodgers part-owner Todd Boehly and British businessman Sir Martin Broughton is considered the most serious contender, while claims of a £2.7billion offer from Saudi Media Group emerged at the start of the week.
New York-based merchant bank Raine is giving Chelsea guidance throughout the process, along with the Premier League and the government after they placed sanctions on Abramovich following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Bidders have been given a deadline of Friday to submit their offers supplying all parts of a checklist, which has been provided predominantly to prove they have the required funds.
The government has effectively taken charge of the sale and will play a leading role in deciding which offer is selected as the preferred option after Friday's deadline.
Prospective buyers have been supplied with an industry brochure where they have been told that there is the potential to more than double the club's revenue, according to The Daily Mail. It states increasing the size of Stamford Bridge from 45,000 to 62,500 would see match-day revenue from £70million to £200million per year.
The report also mentions that Chelsea could cash in on a naming rights deal for Stamford Bridge further down the line. It also states they could improve their commercial value in the USA by taking advantage of Pulisic's position at the club given his stature in America.

Pulisic is the only player to be namechecked in the catalogue but the overall value of Chelsea's squad is highlighted. It states their £795bn worth is the fourth most valuable in the world.
Pulisic, who scored an equaliser against Lille midweek, as Chelsea progressed to the Champions League quarter-finals with a 2-1 win (4-1 on aggregate) over the French side, has not yet lived up to his hype after arriving from Borrusia Dortmund. The American was signed after Eden Hazard joined Real Madrid and took his no.10 shirt which has proved to be a lofty void to fill.
But the winger has shown signs of improvement in recent weeks and still remains a big part of Chelsea's future given the fact he was the only player mentioned in the report to potential new buyers. The club's new owners will be hoping his value on the pitch and can match his worth off of it.
