Chelsea star Christian Pulisic has fired a warning at AC Milan ahead of their huge Champions League clash at the San Siro on Tuesday.
The American winger was keen to secure a transfer away from Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window, but is now focused on forcing his way into Graham Potter's plans, football.london understands. Pulisic has started to show signs of some good form after registering a goal and an assist in his last two Premier League appearances for the Blues.
The 24-year-old completed a £54million move from Borussia Dortmund to Chelsea back in 2019 but struggled to live up to his potential under previous managers Frank Lampard and Thomas Tuchel. Pulisic will be hoping his goal and performance against Wolves at the weekend could see him in contention to start against AC Milan on Tuesday night.

The American winger came under fire from Arsenal legend Thierry Henry recently for his performances and attitude during his time at the Blues. Henry said: "How many managers are not going to trust you? It’s going to be have to be you at one point. So, find a way.
"At one point show us something, and what you can do, and maybe he’ll be fit for the World Cup and the US team. But how many managers are not going to trust you? At one point it’s going to have to be you, you have to show something."
Potter outlined how he was able to help Pulisic put in a stronger performance for his team at the weekend after the 24-year-old was utilised in a different role. Following the 3-0 win against Wolves, Potter said: "Yeah [Pulisic was nervous] and I think that’s understandable, he’s a human being.
"He wants to play, he wants to help. But it’s just basic maths isn’t it? You can only pick 11, and there’s 24 of them.
"So unless somebody gives me a solution it’s just trying to work with the players, work with the group, understand that we need everybody, that’s clear for me. Then it’s about how do you get the players on the pitch in roles that suit them. And that role for Christian today [vs Wolves] was a good one, high wide left, he can attack the backline and he managed to score."
Pulisic will be hoping he can continue his form through until the 2022 World Cup and the U.S. Men's National Team star has warned AC Milan that they will come up against a 'strong team' on Tuesday. Speaking to the official Chelsea website, Pulisic said: "We have a very strong team and amazing depth, guys that can come in and do a great job.
"We have players that work hard and push each other in training every day. That can only help the team and I think you saw that against Wolves."
Pulisic started ahead of summer signing Raheem Sterling on Saturday but is expected to be swapped out for the England international for the clash against the Serie A champions. Potter will be pleased to see the American winger taking his chances when given first team opportunities as he looks to rotate his squad through a hectic period of fixtures.
