Christian Eriksen believes Manchester United can get the best out of him by playing open, expansive football.
Since arriving in the summer, Erik ten Hag has shown plenty of faith in the Danish midfielder. Eriksen has become a regular in the United starting XI and has enjoyed plenty of positive displays.
Ahead of Sunday's trip to Craven Cottage, Eriksen was asked why he thinks he had such a positive impact after coming off the bench in the Carabao Cup win over Aston Villa. "I try to do what I can on the pitch and the game suited me well," he told MUTV.

"It was opened up, they were trying to go on the attack and we were trying to attack. The game opened up so it was perfect for me.
"But it’s not only me who came on. The subs and any of the players who started still had a lot of chances to finish the game earlier but then I think, in the end, with the energy and extra chances we took, it was enough.
"Of course for me as a new player, I’m starting to get to know everyone and starting to learn about everyone, how they play, how they run, and that makes it easier."
With the World Cup on the horizon, Eriksen insisted that the players' full focus, for now, is on United. "Take away the last game at Villa, we were so disappointed and, on Thursday, to be back on track, it was good to get the win to go through and now, to finish off before the World Cup, we want to finish off as high as possible and that’s with a win," the Dane added.
"100 per cent, I think everyone will be [fully focused]. I think everyone wants to finish well and finish in good shape before the World Cup but also, as a club, it’s where we want to start when we come back from the World Cup.
"We want to be in the best position possible and that’s with three points at Fulham. I’m looking forward to the game."
