It's hard to find a product as endorsed among celebrities as the Barefoot Dreams blanket. Chrissy Teigen first drew my attention to the ultra-soft throw in 2019 when she announced that she uses hers every day of the year. 'I use mine 365. It stretches and wraps over your shoulders and feet, and nothing else compares,' she shared via X (then Twitter).
Since then, a series of equally admirable figures – including the likes of Hailey Bieber, Jennifer Garner, and Kate Hudson – have similarly sported the iconic 'CozyChic' model in the wild. As a celebrity style editor, I realized it was inevitably time to try and understand the appeal, and it didn't take long to draw a conclusion. After only one week, I never want to be without it in my bedroom.

The $138 price tag (for a limited time) is an investment, but it leaves you with one of the best throw blankets on the market – both in terms of its versatility and its unrivaled softness.
The CozyChic Throw comes in a series of colors (I have the Dove Gray tone), but they're all as soft as one another. The brand's unique fabrication, made from 100% polyester, promises warmth and coziness in the bedroom, living room, or on an airplane, train, or car journey. Plus, it's machine washable, so you don't need to worry about spills (as someone who consistently spills my coffee, this was the most welcome news).
In my bedroom, I try to keep hues muted and neutral – and the Dove Gray colorway complements my palette perfectly. It's darker than the usual tones on and around my bed, but it doesn't overpower the space.
If you're worried about how this gray will look in your room then don't be. Few people are as pedantic about overcrowding a room with color as I am, and I love seeing it on top of my comforter. Beyond its aesthetics, however, this throw excels in its comforting texture.
