Chrissy Teigen shares update on IVF journey and reveals perks of sober award shows

Chrissy Teigen has revealed that she has completed her latest round of IVF as her and husband John Legend look to further expand their family in the coming months.

The model, 36, had been undergoing IVF treatment last month, following the tragic loss of her son Jack in 2020.

The presenter - who has two other children with her singer husband, 43 - has teased the possibility of welcoming another child into the family as the couple pursue IVF.

And she has now confirmed that she has finished the latest cycle of the treatment, sharing the news on the red carpet of the Hollywood Beauty Awards over the weekend.

Chrissy - who co-hosts Lip Sync Battle - was asked about her progress with the treatment by Entertainment Tonight (ET) correspondent Matt Cohen at the event on Saturday.

Asked how it was going, she had responded to the outlet at the awards ceremony: "I finished my IVF part, so I feel so much healthier and so much better with that."

Chrissy and John - who is a Grammy Award winning musician - are already familiar with the fertility treatment, having welcomed Luna, five, and son Miles, three, by IVF.

During the recent interview with ET, she was also asked about her sobriety - having given up alcohol last year, later announcing that she'd reached 100 days sober in October.

Chrissy said that whilst she had "lost count" on her sobriety journey, the progress has made such events easier to deal with - as she no longer feels embarrassment the next day.

She said that whilst she does still associate awards season with "enjoying yourself and champagne," that attending such events sober has its perks, which she discussed.

The TV personality recalled that in the past - when she used to drink - she would sometimes feel shocked by her actions whilst drunk. She said she used to feel "embarrassed."

Chrissy commented: "I also connected with those feelings of immense regret or like stupid moments. So, it's so nice not to have those feelings anymore."
