Chrissy Teigen's daughter is always telling her to 'cover up' for high-profile events

Chrissy Teigen's daughter is always telling her to 'cover up' for high-profile events

Chrissy Teigen's daughter is always telling her to "cover up" for high-profile events.

The 39-year-old model has Luna, eight, Miles, six, Esti, two, and Wren, six months, with her husband John Legend, and revealed that her eldest often critiques her outfit choices but was pleased when she wore a flowing white Andrew Kwon gown for the Vanity Fair Oscars party.

She told E! News: "Luna’s a very ‘Modest Molly,’ we call her, any time I have, like, any cleavage or leg. So she was like, ‘Oh at least there’s no leg' [for the Oscars after party]."

John added: "[She’ll say] like, ‘Cover up.'

But the 'All Of Me' singer has also fallen foul to his daughter's criticism over his red carpet looks as he noted that she gave him the "side-eye" over his black tunic.

He said: "Luna looked at me like. [giving me the side-eye]. She’s always shading me."

Just days ago, Chrissy broke down in tears as she discussed her old beliefthat her "body was for everybody" and hopes her children do not grow up to harbour the same view.

Speaking on her new Audible podcast 'Self-Conscious', Chrissy told her guest Mel Robbins: "Really scared of passing this along to my kids. I think that is the big realisation for me is, I can't do this to my kids.

“I don't ever want them to feel like they have to perform for everybody and be good all the time, but I know that sometimes I probably am that way. I do want them to be the most polite, and I don't want people to think that they're just celebrity a****** kids.

"And so I might go harder the other direction to make sure that they don't come off that way.

“And I really need to break that because — and this is another reason I'm in therapy — I'm okay with me getting the s*** end of the stick on anything or living this life where I'm stressed and in pain, but I'm not okay with them."
