Chris Tarrant has opened up about the Ukrainian refugees who are currently living with him and his partner at their Berkshire home.
The 75-year-old TV star appeared on Friday's This Morning to promote his new book, but host Alison Hammond was keen to ask him about taking in a Ukrainian family.
"I know you've taken in some refugees as well, which is amazing," Alison, 47, commented.
"Three Ukrainians, they're just so sweet," Chris replied as Alison asked: "Is it lovely having them there?"
"Absolutely delightful," he responded before adding: "It's a mum, a daughter whose about 30 and a dear little baby, 10-months-old, and it's just amazing.
"That's a great thing to do by the way," Dermot added as Chris explained: "Yeah, we just watched it and thought, 'we've got to do something'.
"They were sleeping on the floors in airports in Poland and now they're at my place and the little baby, you look at it, and it's 10 months, dear little girl just about trying to walk and you just think, 'what would your life be like if you were still back there?' in that sick, evil world they're experiencing, it's just horrific."
"Yeah, well done Chris," host Dermot O'Leary replied as Alison agreed with him.
Chris previously said he is livid at the UK Government's list of rules and checks stopping others wanting to offer Ukrainian refugees a home.
It comes after Home Secretary Priti Patel was forced to apologise for migration delays, saying the scheme had been "a victim of its own popularity".
Refusing to accept the cash offered to take in Ukrainians, Chris said they just wanted to do their bit after being left heartbroken by the conflict.
He also said the country needs to wake up to the crisis with the war predicted to last until next year.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub.
