Chris Sutton has insinuated that Leeds United were lucky to avoid relegation from the Premier League this season. Jesse Marsch's side secured their spot in the top flight in dramatic fashion on the final day of the season when Jack Harrison scored a late winner against Brentford.
Leeds were in a tough position in February after legendary coach Marcelo Bielsa was sacked after a number of poor results, but former RB Leipzig manager Marsch was able to somewhat steer the ship and do just enough to keep the West Yorkshire side in the Premier League.
Speaking on the BBC's Monday Night Club, Sutton said he was surprised about Marsch's impact on Leeds, and touched on why he worries about Leeds next season.

He said: "Absolutely (surprised). Jesse Marsch, he’s such a positive guy. He always believed, stayed positive, they stayed up because Burnley didn’t get a result I understand the positive thinking but they got away with one. I worry for Leeds in the summer. It’s a really interesting summer, a lot of Leeds fans have been frustrated about the lack of signings in January.
"Raphinha must have his head turned if Barcelona are in for them, the hope is they can keep the likes of Phillips. It’s been a disaster defensively but they’ve had a difficult time, they’ve got over the line but this summer is one to watch. Greenwood was in the action yesterday.
"You go back to the Struijk goal but Brighton should’ve wiped the floor with them only for the skill from Gelhardt on the touchline - that gave them an opportunity with the result against Brentford."
Spanish outlet SPORT have today reported that Raphinha has handed in a transfer request over a possible move to Barcelona, who have made no secret about their intentions to acquire the Brazilian.
