Chris Sutton in 'very lucky' Ryan Kent claim as he delivers Liam Scales flashpoint ban verdict

Chris Sutton believes Rangers star Ryan Kent will be 'very lucky' if he avoids retrospective action for a flashpoint with Aberdeen defender Liam Scales.

It was Hampden delight for Michael Beale as he guided his side to the Viaplay Cup final and a tantalising showdown with Celtic next month after Ryan Jack levelled proceedings in normal time and Kemar Roofe netted the key winner on Sunday. But the clash with Jim Goodwin's men provided more than a few flashpoints for referee Nick Walsh amid tough pitch conditions.

The whistler sent off Dons captain Anthony Stewart after a rash challenge on Fashion Sakala in injury time but mere moments later Kent was involved in a fracas with Scales with Sutton calling for retrospective action on the Rangers winger.
