Chris Sutton gifted special Celtic vs Rangers 'demolition derby' memorabilia

Chris Sutton was gifted a special commemorative frame from Celtic's 6-2 win over Rangers for his birthday.

The Hoops hero's son Frankie gave his dad the present to mark his 52nd birthday.

Taking to social media site X, Sutton showcased the frame, which had come from famous British TV commentator Clive Tyldesley.

The 70-year-old - best known for his work on ITV - sells prints of his commentary charts from certain games.

Details include the team line-ups, managers and his notes with stats and facts on each player.

Sharing an image of the photo frame, the pundit wrote: "Lovely birthday present from my son Frankie.

"I remember the game well. Thanks to ⁦Clive Tyldesley and commentary charts for this beautifully written piece. The Demolition Derby."

The game in question dates back to August 2000, when the Hoops thumped Rangers 6-2.

The striker bagged a brace in that game - scoring the first and last goals in the match.

His first occurred just 51 seconds into the derby encounter, as Celtic took a 3-0 lead after only just 11 minutes, hence why those of a Hoops persuasion christened it the 'demolition derby'.
