Will Smith and Chris Rock have reportedly not yet spoken to each other following the altercation at the Oscars which has sparked controversy since the ceremony last night.
The actor, 53, was seen live on air slapping the comedian, 57, following a joke that the latter had made about Jada Pinkett Smith, 50, when he guest presented at the event.
He suggested that she looked like G.I. Jane - seemingly in reference to her shaved head - which she has previously said was related to having suffered hair loss due to alopecia.
Shortly after the comment, Will - who has been married to Jada since 1997 - took to the stage to confront Chris, with him then seen slapping the comedian on the live broadcast.
It was later claimed that the two men had resolved the issue, with some fans even expecting them to discuss it on an episode of Jada's show Red Table Talk in the future.
However, it has since been reported that Will and Chris haven't spoken to each other following the incident, which prompted a backlash towards both men involved in it.
A source told TMZ that there has been no communication between them both since they were seen on stage together, when the audience were stunned by Will's outburst.

And although he's been criticised for seemingly making a joke in light of Jada's experience with alopecia, the source said Chris wasn't actually aware she had the condition.
They said to the outlet that the stand-up comedian - who had a voice role in the Madagascar film series alongside Jada - "doesn't have a mean bone in his body."
The source said that Chris went to his dressing room after the altercation and then left the building, with them saying that he hadn't ever planned to stay long anyway.
They added that he was left "shaken and bewildered" by Will, but he reportedly attended an after-party in an attempt to enjoy himself following the incident on stage.
The incident at the awards ceremony has prompted backlash, though it has been said that Chris declined the chance to file a police report following the altercation.
The Mirror has approached reps of Chris Rock and Will Smith for comment on this story.
