Chris Rock had 'tears in his eyes' performing first show since Will Smith's slap

Chris Rock had tears in his eyes during his first stage show since Will Smith slapped him at the Oscars.

The comedian said that he's "still processing" the incident, which stunned Hollywood.

The 57-year-old took to the stage for a stand-up show at the Wilbur Theatre and opened by asking the audience: "How was your weekend?"

But very quickly, he let the audience know that he wouldn't be talking about the slap.

"Let me be all misty and s***," he said, with tears in his eyes.

"I don't have a bunch of s*** to say about that, so if you came here for that..." he warned, after the show sold out following the controversial moment last Sunday.

"I had written a whole show before this weekend," he explained.

"I'm still processing what happened, so at some point I'll talk about that s***. It'll be serious. It'll be funny, but right now I'm going to tell some jokes."

Claims have been made since the award ceremony, but Chris shut them down.

"I haven't talked to anyone, despite what you heard," he told the audience, who had allegedly paid nearly $1,000 for a ticket.

Twice during his first show, a few viewers heckled: "Will Smith", which were met with boos from the crowd.

The Mail Online reported that one man was dragged away by security.

The drama caught Chris' attention, who asked, "Is this how this tour is going to go?"

Oscars producer Will Packer told Good Morning America that Chris told police not to press charges against Will.

"We will go get him, we are prepared to get him right now,' the cops said to Rock, Packer recalled. 'You can press charges. We can arrest him."

"They were laying out the options, and as they were talking, Chris was being very dismissive of those options. He was like, "No, I'm fine." He was like, "No, no, no,"' the producer said.

Will, who was presented with his first Academy Award, will face

"disciplinary proceedings" with Oscars officials that could result in suspension, expulsion, or other sanctions.
