Chris Pratt recently shared how he feels about his brother-in-law’s… umm… assets and I never knew a family could be this close. That’s right – Pratt’s been eyeing Patrick Schwarzenegger‘s goods in the new season of The White Lotus, and he’s not shy about dishing the details.
In a recent chat with E! News, Pratt went full TMI when asked about watching his wife’s brother in the buff. “I know where my eyes went — I’m not blood related to him, I was looking at that dick, bro,” he quipped. Well, that’s one way to bond with the in-laws, I guess?
He also threw in some praise for Patrick’s acting skills. “Obviously, he’s a physical specimen, but also he’s a really solid actor, because the character he’s playing is completely different than who he is,” Pratt added.
For those of you who aren’t in the know (why aren’t you watching the show??), Patrick plays mega-douche bag Saxton Ratliff. He is the oldest child of the cursed Ratliff family and has major incest inclinations.
Patrick’s dad is none other than the Terminator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger and he too could not resist cracking a dad joke about his son’s nude scene. “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree,” Arnold told Vanity Fair earlier this month. Hey, I’m all for having openness in families, but like where is the line, you know?
Meanwhile, Patrick’s mum, Maria Shriver, took a more maternal approach. When asked about the nude scene, she played it cool and told PEOPLE, “My kids were like, ‘Did you see that?’ And I was like, ‘No. What?'”
To be honest, that’s not hard to believe. Logistically the nude scene in question did not have everything on full display as there were pesky toiletries in the way.
Patrick Schwarzenegger has reportedly been receiving some flak for supposedly riding on his dad’s fame, but he’s not having it. “I know there are people who’ll say I only got this role because of who my dad is,” he told The Sunday Times.
“They’re not seeing that I’ve had 10 years of acting classes, put on school plays every week, worked on my characters for hours on end or the hundreds of rejected auditions I’ve been on.”
His mother has also been singing his praises, with Maria telling PEOPLE, “I was so happy for him because he’s worked so hard. He takes classes, he’s really been grinding at it for more than a decade, and he wanted to work his way up — and he’s done it his way.”
Patrick shared with PEDESTRIAN.TV in an interview earlier this month, that he was “over the moon” when he got the audition.
“I’d seen both season one and season two. I was a huge fan of both of them, and I was over the moon to be have the ability to audition for this season and to be part of it,” he gushed.
