Chris Paul‘s ejected from the Golden State Warriors loss to the Phoenix Suns ruined his return to a city he called home before being traded last summer. Paul enjoyed a three-year tenure in Arizona, making 194 regular-season appearances and 40 postseason appearances. As such, Paul took to social media to send a message to the Suns fans.
The veteran guard apologized for his early exit from the contest and thanked them for their support during his time with the Suns. Paul was originally traded to the Washington Wizards as part of the Bradley Beal trade but was flipped to the Warriors in return for Jordan Poole.
“Thank you to The Valley for 3 AMAZING years!!!” Paul wrote on Instagram. “My apologies for the early exit tonite.”
However, Paul has struggled to hit the ground running for Steve Kerr‘s team. The veteran guard is adjusting to a role off the bench and is clearly missing some of his usual rhythm as

However, Paul will undoubtedly adjust to his new role in the coming weeks or months, and once that happens, the Warriors’ struggles will become a thing of the past, and their guard rotation will become incredibly dangerous on both sides of the court.
