Chris Moyles reveals 1.5 stone weight loss after rice and beans diet on I'm A Celebrity

Chris Moyles has revealed exactly how much weight he lost during his time on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

The star became the sixth celebrity to get the boot from the jungle last night, as ITV viewers voted to save comedian Seann Walsh, Mike Tindall, Lioness Jill Scott, Owen Warner and disgraced MP Matt Hancock instead.

Following his exit from camp, Chris, 48, has been enjoying cups of Yorkshire Tea and catching up with his colleagues at Radio X.

In an interview on the radio show this morning, where he normally hosts the breakfast show, Chris revealed how he and his former campmates stole treats without producers knowing and opened up about how his body changed during his jungle stint.

"We watched you gradually get skinnier and skinnier, but it felt like overnight you and Mike Tindall at the same time... suddenly like you've lost so much weight! It's fallen [off you] - I think it was after your trial," Toby Tarrant told the axed I'm A Celebrity star on the Radio X show earlier today.

Probing his collegue, Toby added: "We said you and Mike suddenly looked like you've lost a lot so come on, give us the numbers!"

Chris then revealed: "I've lost a stone and half."

The former Radio 1 DJ has been on an incredible weight loss journey over the years - dropping from 18 stone to 12.

At the start of this month, former Love Island star Olivia Attwood, 31, looked confused during the opening episode of this year's series of I'm A Celebrity as Chris greeted her before they headed into the jungle together.

"You look different," Olivia told Chris, to which the radio personality replied by quipping: "I used to be really fat."

The reality TV star quickly complimented her campmate on his weight loss, telling Chris: "You look great."

During an episode of The Kempcast with Ross Kemp in 2020, Chris got deep when discussing his appearance - revealing an ongoing "issue with body dysmorphia" that developed after losing weight.

"I weigh myself six days a week, and I know you shouldn't and I know it's not for everyone, but I do that so I can learn about how my body works," the star explained to former EastEnders actor Ross on the podcast.

"I will train Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and I will watch what I eat and I'll eat very little. I do intermittent fasting and I'll eat at 6:30pm or 7pm and I'll be fine. I need to do that from the weekends that I have.”

"I'm fascinated by body dysmorphia because I really have an issue with body dysmorphia, which I think most people do," he added during the candid chat.
