Chris Moyles has reportedly requested an exercise bike and a sound system during his quarantine before heading into the Oz jungle for I'm a Celeb.
ITV are asking the famous faces this year to isolate before the show and be tested for Covid, and it appears that Chris will be putting his down time to good use by working up a sweat.
The Radio X DJ, who has lost six stone in weight, was the first celeb to arrive at Brisbane airport earlier this week, confirming his participation in I'm a Celeb, which begins on Sunday, November 6.
He was later followed by Love Island star Olivia Attwood, Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver and Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner.
Asked if he was looking forward to spending time in Australia, Chris said: "It should be nice, fingers crossed anyway."
Quizzed if he was scared of things in the jungle like snakes and spiders he joked: "There's lots of everything in this country, like sport and beer and I am not scared of sport of beer. So I think I will be alright."
It appears that before getting up close to creepy crawlies Chris wants to get some pedalling in.
A source told The Sun: “Chris has put in his requests to ITV to make sure he is happy during quarantine."
They added that Chris has asked for a sound system so he can play music loudly in his room, and for an exercise bike to be delivered to his room.
The source went on: “All of the celebrities have to quarantine for a week and Chris loves to keep fit now – so having a bike in his room means he can keep up his routine.
“Without these things it would have been a miserable week for him.”
A show source told the Mirror that "every celebrity gets access to exercise equipment and music whilst in isolation".
At his heaviest Chris was 18 stone, two pounds, before he ramped up his exercise and changed his diet.
In 2020, speaking on Ross Kemp's podcast, he shared how he trains hard to allow himself to be less restrictive at the weekend.
He explained: "I don't have the metabolism of an 18-year-old girl or boy, I just don't. I will, and people don't believe me, but I weight myself six days a week, and I know you shouldn't and I know it's not for everyone, but I do that so I can learn about how my body works.
"I will train Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and I will watch what I eat and I'll eat very little, I do intermittent fasting and I'll eat at half six or seven and I'll be fine.
"I need to do that from the weekends that I have.
"I get to the weekend and you're f***ing tired and you want a drink, it's boring watching what you eat. Anyone who goes, 'I don't really worry about what I eat.' Well, you lucky bastards because I've got to.”
