Chris Jones was fuming on the sidelines after Jalen Hurts’ second Super Bowl TD

It was largely a first half to forget for the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 57.

Not only did Patrick Mahomes only see the ball for just over eight minutes, the Eagles and Jalen Hurts seemed to be doing whatever they pleased. That added dimension of Hurts’ legs (63 yards rushing) was something that Kansas City defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo’s defense had no answer for.

And after Hurts took in his second rushing score of the night to give Philadelphia a 21-14 lead — having already made history earlier — one of the Chiefs’ more notable players was irate.

Fresh off a dynamite performance in the AFC title game, Chris Jones was absolutely fuming on the sidelines as the Chiefs’ defense settled back in on the bench:

Phew! It’s not clear precisely what Jones is saying to his teammates there, but even a lip reader can see he’s probably asking for more quality.

There’s still a lot of ball game left, but with Kansas City eventually falling behind by 10 points at the half, it has one heck of a mountain to climb.

NFL fans weren't shocked by Jones' anger amidst the Chiefs' first half struggles
