Chris Jones showed up to the Chiefs’ opener during his holdout and everyone thought it was so weird

Chris Jones isn’t bluffing.

The 2022 Defensive Player of the Finalist wants a massive raise from the Kansas City Chiefs and is seemingly willing to pull out all the stops. So much so that he’s not playing in the Chiefs’ opener against the Detroit Lions on Thursday night. However, for some reason, he’s still in attendance. He’s still sitting in the Chiefs’ box at their home stadium, seemingly in support of his teammates.

If Jones is trying to make a statement and put his foot down, it’s a little odd he’d still show up to the game despite sitting out on purpose. It makes me think that he might, kind of, be bluffing.

NFL fans thought similarly over Twitter and made so many jokes about the talisman showing up to a meaningful game despite literally holding out.

This was how Twitter reacted to Jones showing up to the Chiefs' game during his holdout
