Chris Jones could have gone there.
The Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle could have ripped in Zach Wilson like everyone else has and talked about the struggles of the former No. 2 overall pick and how he couldn’t close out perhaps his best performance on Sunday night.
But he didn’t. Instead, he kept it classy when NBC’s Rodney Harrison wondered about looking at tape and saying, “You’ve got to look at this dude and say, aw he is garbage.”
Jones later said, “Zach Wilson is special, man. You’ve just got to give the guy time.”
Obviously, Harrison disagreed and said as much:
