It’s never too early for some trash talk it seems, as two former teammates are already at it ahead of their 2023 matchup. The 2023 schedule isn’t set yet, but Dolphins wideout and former Chiefs star Tyreek Hill already has his eyes set on his return to Arrowhead stadium.
“Chiefs Kingdom, when the Miami Dolphins come to Arrowhead Stadium this year, guess what we’re gonna do? Guess what we’re gonna do? I hate to throw up the peace sign against y’all, I hate to do it. But guess what? I’m gonna be y’all’s worst enemy that day,” Hill said. “You better change the the signals, I know every signal you all got.”
Hill was of course referring to his signature peace sign he gives defenders in his wake while walking into end zones for touchdowns. His former teammate, Kansas City defensive tackle Chris Jones, responded to the trash talk on Thursday.
“The only ✌🏽 sign he throwing up is walking to the bus after the game,” Jones said in a tweet.

Hill surely isn’t the only one who has it out for the reigning Super Bowl champions, but he has good reason to be confident. He was second in the NFL this past season in catches (119) and receiving yards (1,710) while also hauling in seven touchdown passes. Jones, meanwhile, is a four-time All-Pro and one of the best at his position as well.
Whenever the game is, both squads will surely have their calendars marked.
